Hey guys movin up in the world just went from a 93 ranger to a 91 f150 4x4 came with a 6in rough country lift and 37s ready to be put on have a few questions as too the lift will I need longer brake lines and do I need longer shocks or can that wait?

Well first what engine do you have and trans? Cause if 5.0 engine it's gonna be a dog..
5 spd trans your gonna bust..

The 4.9 will be ok... But the big tires and lift will put way to much stress on the axles and transmission..
The m5od trans sucks.. An the 8.8" ear and Dana 44 ttb front are weak for anything above 33" tires IMO..
The reason I was saying the 5.0 would be bad is its weak low end torque and that's what ya need to get big tires and lift going..

When people say your truck is a 4 speed do they mean it's got 4 gears with that 5th gear with the D (overdrive) or is it seriously ing 4 gears and reverse?

4 speed is 4 forward gears 4th is overdrive typically or 1st is granny gear and 4th is geared to a typical 3rd
A 5 speed is 5 forward gears and 5th is overdrive..
