    Switch from 4.2 to 5.4

Maybe some one can give me a heads up as to how hard is it to switch from 6 to 8 on a 97 F-150. I'm a heavy truck mechanic so I know my way around. I've had this truck for a while and need to make it go so I can give it to my son. Will I need a whole donor truck? Can I use existing dash harness? Anyone who has successfully performed this please reply. Also anyone in the East Texas/West Louisiana area who has a donor truck, please respond.
