I have a 1991 f150 that has been passed down too me through my dad. Its a 300 six 4 speed 4x4. I was wondering how hard itd be to swap the front suspension to 2wd. Im also going to do a 5 speed swap. So far i was told everything bolts up. Basically unbolt the entire 4x4 setup (radius arms, springs, steering linkage) drop it out. Roll in the 2wd set up and bolt it back in. That takes care of the front plus i can rebuild the front suspension while the 4x4 stuffs still in. Then pull my 4 speed and transfer case setup out and grab a 2wd 5 speed from around the same year and bolt it in. Grab a floor pan from the 5 speed 2wd truck and cut out a plate to cover the 4x4 shifter spot in the floor. Some drive shaft work and new 2wd carpet and boom done. Am i missing anything?
