    Gas milage

    Have a 1984 300 i6 and It gets about 7-11 mpg and I was wondering how I could get better gas milage. What could I have done to it and stuff like that? Note that I drive slow for a teenager lol

    its a carb'd I6...that is normal MPG..MPG was never a 300 strong point

    11mpg is about on par. Ford developed the 4.2L V6 to replace the fledging 300 I6 for better mileage and power.
