    New to F150 general questions...

    Re: 2005 Lariet

    1. How do you replace the bulb in the shifter lever? Can't see what gear it's in at night.

    2. Where exactly is the fuse box. Looking under drivers and passenger to no avail.

    Not working:
    Rear back up sensors.
    Cruise Control
    Mirror dimmer

I *believe* Ford switched to 5050-SMT series LEDs for lighting of the cluster. I dunno if they also did that to the shift lever.

Fuse box should be on the drivers side kick panel, by your left knee

Check your fuses for those items. Use your owners manual and see if those all tie together on one fuse or relay.

Fuse box is on the passenger kick panel in your 05. You will have to take the console apart to get to the shifter bulb, I believe its still just a regular light bulb if I remember right.

Thank you so much! Got light now and found hard to get at fuse box.!
Cruise control working also. Was pressing wrong side of buttons
I think the mirror dimmer is working ok too.
Had 2 blown fuses for trailer turn signals. All ok now.

    2 more problems:
    1. Reverse sensing system still not working. Fuses ok.
    2. Left turn signal in mirror pushed inside mirror. Can't figure how to take mirror apart to fix.
