    Trans won't shift into overdrive

So I wasnt paying attention and was cruising at 45 and saw a 20 mph corner ahead so I downshifted from D to 2 and heard a pop, well I put it back into D and the truck went into third then when it tried to go into OD it just uprevved and bucked, and then uprevved, like it didn't want to engage in OD, no slips or weird sounds, shifts great till it goes to go into OD, then it just uprevs, i just run it with the OD button off and it gets me around but kills my mpg.

What the hell is the problem here cause i cant figure it out or find any answers anywhere.

Screw that. I'll take it to the dealer. I purchased the extended warranty on the is one. All I gotta do is pay 100 and they fix it.

Yes the pan would have to be dropped. And if you're not careful you can break the other ones in the process. Warranty it up!
