Okay guys maybe you can help me out with this I got a 5 speed transmission Mazda and Ford F 150 89 I have first.. second..and fourth gear I can't get into third and I cannot get into fifth and reverse pops out of gear when I press the gas

Check to see if the shifter is sloppy, i had the same issue, and just fixed it today, there is a shifter rebuild kit, it only takes ten min to fix it....

It sounds more like the synchronizers to me. Been down that road.
