    Rough idle and engine stalling

I have a 2006 f150 4.6, a couple weeks ago the code came up for the fuel cap so I replaced it, then yesterday it came back on and it also had a code for a vacuum leak. I found a hose from the fuel tank to the evap canister that was unhooked so I put it back. Now my truck barely starts and won't idle, it spits and sputters and then dies if accelerator isn't constantly pushed. The new code it's throwing is p2196. Any help would be greatly appreciated

If the hose was already connected to a source a vacuum then ignore this but it might be the vacuum hose is clogged? That is if it wasn't connected to any source of vacuum. Too much vacuum could throw a sensor code that would cause those problems. Let me know how it goes. I'll ask a tech about the code its throwing and see if I can't get any info for ya.
