    To relieve the pressure, there is a Schraeder valve located on the fuel rail in the engine bay. But even then, the low pressure of the fuel lines won't spray, just drop a couple cups of fuel on you.

    When I did mine i didnt mess with the Schrader valve. The line never sprayed, just dropped all over me.

    Yeah, cause stupid me thought the pressure would be coming from the tank, not the filter, so I was on the wrong side and got drenched with gas haha. I needed one of those signs that says no smoking within 50 feet after that lol.

    Don't feel bad, same thing happened to me. I was smart enough to wear safety glasses, however. I'm blind in one eye so I don't need to lose the other one!

    Well, I burned out my eyes when I first took it off, it sprayed right in them lol. I wasn't smart enough to think of safety glasses beforehand haha.
