I was wondering if anybody have problems with condensation in the intercooler? Also called limp mode?
Just want to know, it has not happened to me yet. But seen that problem mentioned on a few pages on the interweb.

Anything can cause limp mode, but yes there are some instances of condensation in the intercooler. There is a well-known fix for it, so if you are affected by it, simply take it by your dealer.

I have a 2011 with the Eco Bust and once I hit 30k all I have had is the shutter problem. They said it was the inter cooler on the 5th visit. They installed the so called fix and it is still running like crap. After 7+ weeks of trying to reach Ford customer no service they now are telling me it is an inherent trait of the engine. Ton of BS. Can't wait to get rid of this pile of crap
You got a bad deal then, I got my ecoboost intercooler fix, now my trucks a warlord.
So today I was slowing down for a red light. It turned green so I punched it to get past a line up of cars. A few seconds later I got the little wrench pop up and the truck was just rolling slowly. I finally got over to the side and shut the truck off. It shook to a stop, then I went to start it and it turned over for a few seconds longer than normal and started. I already got the intercooler fix, why now after 2 months. What gives?
You shut it off while still moving? And maybe just a lot of moisture managed to get in.
No I pulled over and shut it off. I talked to my uncle whose a ford mechanic. He said the intercooler fix still isn't the answer. He said he will dump a pint out of the new one every week they're coming in. I'm very disappointed the f150 is the only turbo vehicle with this problem. I hope they're trying to find a better solution because as I found out today it can be very dangerous.
Yeah, water in the intake is never good.
