    How's changing rim sire with the same size(diameter) tire gonna throw of the speedometer

    I got bigger tires when I upgraded from 17" wheels to 18". I went from 265's to 285's. Thats where it got thrown off lol.

    285 is width not height. So speedo is off when you adjust diameter. Looks good!

    285 is definitely not the width or your tires would be half as wide as your truck nearly. The smaller number like 285/70, the 70 is the width.

    I'll have to disagree 285 is the width of the tire in mm. 70 is the aspect ratio or proportional height of the side wall.

    Grabber. 285 is the hight and 70 is your width. Only dirt bike tires do width first
