    Finally bit the bullet!

After wanting a topper since I got this truck and having no luck finding any used ones I bit the bullet and ordered a LEER 100XL topper for my truck today. It pains me to let go of that much cash but I know it will be worth it. Only option I ordered it with is the removable front slider. Should be here in a couple weeks and I will update with some pics but here is a pic from the LEER website for now. Im pretty excited!

Yeah I've tossed the idea around for a while, considered a tonneau cover but this will work better for me. I will be able to haul the dog back there and it will be nice to lock things back there and keep stuff dry

I hate to ask, as I know there around 2K, but how expensive are the Leers? Thats what I had on my 2005 and it was really a quality piece. Its just hard to choke it down, plus paint to match.............

I got this for a fuzz over $1500 including paint and install. I tried to quote it without paint because I could have it painted myself but it would have only saved me about $50. They are painted before they leave the factory.

thats a great price, when I checked before I purchased my truck it was approx 42400 with paint. That was a little to much to choke down. maybe Ill start checking again. I believe all 2009-2012's are the same, with the little flip tail on the tailgate.

I had a topper, with a hump in the back (this is a pic of me and my truck circa 1999/2000)

When I started driving it, I sold it for $400. I couldn't stand the look, but if you've got stuff to keep dry, they are nice. It had a little light in it too.
