fueleconomy.gov is a good starting point, however keep in mind when the EPA tests were done on our engines, they were done on non-ethanol fuel. Meaning that E10 you stuff down your tank kills about 2-3mpg. I remember back in 2009-2010 before Florida mandated E10, I used to get 500-550 miles a tank, getting 22mpg in my V6. Now I see 18 if I'm lucky.

So when I look up specs on there should I add 2-3 mpg to get an idea of what it use to be?

    ----------

Ok so 11 mpg in town and 15 mpg highway. Avg. 13 mpg so 12 mpg isn't to bad for its age. I'm glad I looked up the specs. now.

    ----------

I'm not sure what the ethnol levels are here I think it's somewhere between 5-10% though. And it sucks that you're getting 4 mpg lower then what you use to.

My old '96 f150 with the 5.0 got 18mpg highway, it was two wheel drive, but then the torque converter started going along with the y pipe so after that it was still about 12 I got about 17 highway with my 2006 4wd 5.4 but that was cruise set on a nice pretty flat highway

The only time I got 17 was when I went to the desert with my 2005 4.6L 2wd, but that had a mountain pass to get over lol, so it would probably be higher without that.
