2011 lifted 8''on trick i use it push down on your bumper a few times and get it bouncing then let it go. if it bounce more the three times your shocks are pooched.

They are bad if the are leaking oil tho. And the bounce test is good to check your springs! But shocks are on mileage if they don't leak! Good luck and soak bolts with penatrating oil.

Yeah they're looking like they have a decent leak, I think it would be a good idea to replace them, especially if you said it felt/sounded like it was bottoming out.
