Thread: torsion bars?

Is it the torsion bars on the front that are rattling? It's the part that is a bolt with a steel collar and 4 rubber bushings. If that's not the torsion bars than what are they called? There is 1 on each side

They are called swing bar bushings. I just replaced them on my 2001 F150. I think they cost $20 for the set.

Thanks i couldn't remember what they were called. I replaced them on my buddy's ranger a few years ago and now its time to do it on my 2000 f150

I totally understand. When mine were rattling I couldn't think of the correct name either.
