Okay. Just recently got my 2000 f150 back up and running. It was running great before I fixed the air conditioner. I got the air conditioner fixed and now when the a/c is running, it accelerates...
It is. It's been parked since Christmas because of the axel and because I got a company vehicle. My company truck is in the shop so I have had to this one as a temporary back up.
Okay, I just wanted to eliminate that theory. Last winter I lost control on some ice and slammed a rim against a curb and bent the axle. It only shifts hard and squeals in lower gears and feels like...
Would a bend axle shaft cause a transmission to shift hard??

To be honest I'm not sure... But it was enough lol
This is what happens when you catch air over a water diverter on a ranch road. Plus a bent grille guard. But all is well now, I bent the guard back into place and replaced the stock shocks with these...
I serviced it when I bought it last year and I'm coming up on 50000, so I'll do it again. What if that doesn't fix it?
Okay, my 2000 f150, not sure what trans it has... When I'm driving, in town or highway, the truck shifts hard and the tranny squeals. Any idea what the issue could be?

I drive with my windows down and hardly ever use the ac lol it's been set there for awhile and hasn't been used
