If I sanded them down and painted them wouldn't that be ok. Or is powder coating better wear and tear wise?

I want to get black step bars for my F150. Would it be cheaper to buy a new set of black step-bars or get my chrome ones powder coated?
I've had my 2011 F-150 STX since February and I was just wondering if it's too late to remove the STX decals on the backsides. Will there be like an after image in my paint if I do?
I wish they still made these bad boys.
What's the best way to clean a black colored vehicle? I have a 2011 STX in black and I just go through touch less washes cause I've heard using foam brushes wreck the paint job.
M having a hard time finding light covers for my 2011 f150. Do they even make covers for that year?
I have a 2011 f150 automatic and was wondering if it's possible to put a custom knob on there.
It has the trailer sway button on the end of it.
Yeah I got two. I also found a chrome batman emblem on amazon and a brake like cover. Lol needless to say I'm a big fan of batman but dunno of I'll get those items it might seem to tackie.
Should I not put it on?
I have one for the tailgate to.
Ought myself a custom decal for my ford emblem plate. What do you think?
I got the chrome batman symbol for the front and back.
Now inspite of things that are going on right now surrounding the batman name would it be disrespectful if I put them on right now?
Hmmm ok cool I'll give it a shot thanks. I got some sweet decals from web extremes that I can't wait to put on.
I have a 2011 f-150 and am trying to remove my ford oval emblem. I have removed the two nuts on the back pegs but it's still stuck in my grill. Am I just not pushing/pulling hard enough?
Hmm ok cool. I love the look of a jacked up truck however my STX is only a rear wheel drive and it's a nice looking sport truck so I just want to put nice wheels on without raising it but try and...
I've got a 2011 f-150 STX and I'm wondering how big of tires and rims can I go without having to raise the truck?
Cool I'll checkout the hella brands.
What is the exact name brand of them?
Are they good lights or a waste of money?
Saw these lights on a F-150 today was curious if anybody could tell me what brand they are.
I just got the windows tinted, and I'm wanting to get new rims and tires. I'm not really sure how big I can go without having to lift it though. I just want to fill out the wheel well a bit more.
I just need to get the windows tinted and I'll be set.
Thanks, I'm really happy with this truck. I was gonna get a ranger. But after sitting in one of these it made more sense for me as I am 6'2 and it has room in the back for the dog.
Here's a couple of shots of my truck, I've had it for just over 2 weeks now and love this ride!
It's picked up a new 2011 Ford F-150 STX and I love it!
