Fuel injected. Already replaced fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel filter. A friend of a friend just came by with injector tester. Looks like it may be a bad electrical signal to injectors....
Yes but it doesn't shut off. Eventually after trying to start the truck it does stop pumping.
I guess because I had more money than sense. It was a gut feeling I had. A wrong one obviously. There was chance that someone put something harmful in my fuel tanks. I was just ruling it out.
Vehicles made 1995 and earlier require an OBD 1 scanner. 1996 and newer use OBD 2 scanners. OBD 1 scanners r around but its hard to find one for a reasonable price.
The stores near me don't carry scanners for ANY vehicles made before 1996.
It only runs when starting fluid is sprayed continuously. It doesn't smoke. I just had the battery charged and tested, it's good.
Is there a code scanner on the market that will work on my 94 F150? I don't want to pay an arm and a leg either. Thanks.
