    Hard starts

My truck seems like it is hard to start after its sat for a day or so.. I turn the key on and let the dash lights go off and then start it. It starts easier then but is feels really rough. Like shaking bad but it has no rough idle or anything DJ said that it's something to do with the fuel pump's pressure anyone ever had this problem?

Sounds like a process of elimination situation I would start with fuel filter spark plugs and what not

fuel filter was changed in October of 2013 and number 3 plug was replaced along with the cop but it does need plugs and cops but I don't have a misfire so the cops are still working

Mine does that too after it sits for over a day and gets worse the longer it sits. Luckily I drive everyday now thanks to school and work lol. I think its just normal.

new battery too bought in November when my AC compressor locked the motor up ( you know sounds like a bad battery so that was the first thing I did ) I replaced it with a 1,000 cranking amp ( over 35 degrees ) 850 amps at 0 degrees

some batteries are just not powerful enough dude, don't mean they're old or "bad"

my trucks old battery worked fine, but she hesitated as it just wasn't powerful enough. swapped in a battery with ore power and she's much less reluctant now.

it could be sitting........but my truck has sat for a week (2.....maybe even 3) and started normally.

The description is a little vaugue but if I'm understanding correctly, it cranks over OK but is rough running when first firing up? If that's what you are saying then its possible your fuel system is loosing prime . there is a check vavle in the fuel pump that is supposed to hold pressure to the fuel rail. If this valve goes bad, it allows the fuel to drain from the rail back to the tank and you can run a little rough until it gets all the air out. It will also cause extended crank times. If I'm misunderstanding the complaint please correct me.

it runs fine when you start it. The truck shakes a bit it takes about 2 seconds to start with the key on. With just get in and start it idk I've started it with the key on for a month or 2.

Yeah agree with 5pointslo does sound like a bad check valve. If you cycle the key and starts better then the only difference is your allowing fuel pressure to build.
