knuclehead one and two did battle again. This time the pitt won. He had a wound below his eye, but the boxer and a chewed ear and a bite at the joint above his front left paw. They had hard feeling and were pretty quiet the next day. The boxer was limping around so the vet could make some money. The pitt was very happy when the boxer came home and wasn't limping (pumped up on pain meds and anti-biotics). I got bitten splitting them up, but neither of them came after me on purpose. 5 days later and everyone is working it out. All my life I have had dogs and never seen anything like it. The boxer seems to want dominance and the pitt is thinking "not so much". I am guessing the pitt knows where to bite too.

The pitt gets along with every dog we have had. When our first boxer died we got the terrier and the pit always got along with the 2 boxers. We got the terrier mix and the pitt always got along with those two too. When ever something got weird between the boxer and the terrier, the pitt would walk in the middle and stand around. If the boxer got aggressive with the terrier, the pitt would take on the boxer too. When that boxer died, we got the newest boxer mix. He seems like the aggressor. I know some people could handle him, but not everyone. I kind of look at it that the pitt can take him on and if the boxer gets hurt, he brought it on himself. I also think the boxer will settle down as he gets older. when you add girlfriend to the mix, none of the dogs are going anywhere.
