Also, for a used tuner what would be a better one to look for? An x2, x3? I don't know much on brands and all that so help is appreciated.

I see where you're coming from. I've got a question I should ask though. I've consulted some other ford owners about it who have the phaser tick and I was curious on your guys take. Would it be a dumb idea to get a tuner if I have my phasers ticking?
X3 is good for a used tuner
Lucas, welcome to the forum. The first issue is we know nothing about your truck. Post some basic info about it. How long have you had it, year, miles condition etc. Then we can move on to mods.

The reason I asked is that there was a fog light change in 2006. 2006 had round fog lights

I see what you mean but yea its an 06. I guess I never even noticed that before.
My truck is an 05 but I did a bumper swap for the round fogs
