    Older F-Series Owner. :)

Hey guys, I'm sure most of you FRF guys know who I am, so I'll save the long introduction.

    I'm Shaun, and I'm the proud owner of a 1980 F150 Ranger Lariat 4x4 as well as a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge+.

I figured I'd join and represent the older F-Series owners since most of you seen to have 10th gen and newer trucks.

For those who don't know much about my F150, it actually started out life as an F100 4x2 with the Custom trim level. Over the last few years the truck has undergone a complete trim level swap to the period correct Ranger Lariat trim level, and she has also gained a D44 front axle. Due to the 4x4 swap, her GVWR is now over the 5150 max for an F100, therefore she is technically an F150 now, which is why I call her an F150. Currently the truck is awaiting a heart transplant and will some day be powered by a mildly built 6.6 400 V8.

    Hey Brodie!

Actually, the seats in the pics are two completely different seats. The original one was rusty and torn up pretty bad, so I disassembled it, kept a few spare parts, and then recycled the rest. The current seat in it now is a factory Ranger Lariat trim seat that I was lucky enough to find in the junkyard. It's still running the original fabric. The seat only has one small section where the fabric split at the seam. The rest of the seat is in great shape.

    Nice Tee-Ruck

I also have an "older" F150 however not quite as "older" as yours. Great looking truck. Mine is a '95 with 214,000 on her. I love it.

Very well done conversion, judging by your pics from the show off forum. I'm also an older F-series owner. I have a 70 F100 and a 77F150. Hopefully we get some older owners on here soon!
