    Ford Newb

Well, I did it. I finally traded my Ram for a Ford. I could no longer afford the gas... So I dropped the 4X4 and went with the F150 4X2 EcoBoost.

Hopefully this truck will last a loonnngggg time. We'll see in a few years.

BTW, if anyone has any advice for squeezing out a couple extra miles per gal I'm all ears. I drive exactly 53 miles each way to work. Mostly 2 lane roads with 55MPH speed limit and approximately 10 miles of hard packed dirt right in the middle of the drive.

Welcome To the forum! My guess is that you should get good enough out of that Ecoboost to not have to worry about adding a few mpg's. I believe that you should get well over 25...I've heard of 25/27 as well as one guy even getting 31 with mostly highway. Either way it's better than my 13-14mpg 5.4L Triton V8!
