Thread: Hello!

I miss internet forums. It'll be fun getting into them again.
Anyway, my name is Angelo, I am turning 19 fairly soon. I just bought my first truck from a private owner and it was quite the step up from my 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Aside from the obvious benefits the F-150 has over the Eclipse, I also enjoy the fact that New York emissions testing is now beneath me and my 1995 Ford. Sporting the Bright Red Ford color on the main body and grill, this beauty is fully equipped with 4-wheel drive and that's IT (pretty much)! I'm not a fan of most flashy features like the newer models have, and I can proudly say that I am learning to drive a manual transmission on this truck. There is still a whole lot of work to do to it, and I'd like to start doing some of it myself, but until I get the knowledge and place to do work on it, I'm at the mercy of my mechanic. That is apparent right now, because it is currently there, being treated for what probably is a broken ignition rod and switch. I'm loathing the 2013 Chevy Spark I'm forced to drive for the next two or so weeks, as I had few choices at my local Hertz. I feel like I would be able to carry this thing in the bed of my truck, it's so small; I hate it!
Anyway, there's a little bit about me and my truck, I hope to hang out with you guys and gals on here in the future, maybe learn a few things on the way. Thanks!

You can still get a decent audio system with the regular cab, don't worry. And what brand do you have in mind for exhaust? I recommend Flowmaster as the sound is great and I love my system.

Thanks, Joe! Yeah, I'm only in New York now. I'm really not a fan of the state at all. All of it's rules and politics... it's all very annoying. I'm actually thinking about moving out to the northwest like Montana or Washington eventually. I have to do a lot more research, yet. Yeah, this place definitely seems to suit me quite well on my new adventure as a '150 owner.

Well, Rhino, I would be interested in hearing about my audio options with a regular cab. In terms of my exhaust, I, too, was looking into the Flowmaster system. I don't quite care for any particular sound (Not yet, anyway. I feel like you guys will probably change that, haha) but I really just like the benefits to power and gas mileage.

Flowmaster all the way bud. IMO I think it has the bat sound
