Very cool. I plan on getting it done eventually. Just have to wait for some repairs to finish up on it.

Don't move to CA it's even worse with its rules, regulations, and politics lol. And you don't care about sound, how loud do you want your truck to be then?

    ----------

As for audio systems, I'm by no means an expert lol. I don't know what size space you have in your doors, but you can upgrade your door speakers for sure. Also if you don't care about the middle seat, I've heard of guys building a custom box for a subwoofer right under the center controls. Idk how much money you're willing to spend or what exactly you're looking for, but you can get some decent systems for your truck. Just gotta know what you want and start researching.

No offense, but there is absolutely no way I'm moving to CA, haha. I think that might be the only place worse than New York.
I don't care about sound too much, no. It doesn't matter to me if my truck is quiet or loud. I have a feeling that I may like the louder sound better, though. I've only seen a few Youtube videos with differences.

I don't really know how much money I want to spend on it either. I intend on staying with the truck for quite a while, seeing as how it only has 113,000 on it. Because of that, I'll probably want to invest a good chunk of change. But anyway, I do intend on doing some more research once I collect some more paychecks, haha.

Yeah CA is much worse lol. And if you want loud, Flowmaster is your friend. Plenty of sound options there. And yeah, a sound system will be a little pricey, so save up lol. It's just like me, gotta save up for all my mods.

Yep, that's it. I have the income, but I spend money for various reasons as well.
Flowmaster is definitely where I'll go, then, because I've heard a LOT of people tell me how awesome it is. And it's not like I'll have a problem spending the money for the best, you know?

Yeah, it was a good $450 I spent on mine, love the loudness of it.

That's what I remembered, too. They have loud and quiet models, right? The quieter one is cheaper, I think?

Not necessarily, but here look at this. Loudest=left, quiet=right. I have the 40 series on mine. Price depends on if you get a whole system or just a muffler.

The most interest I have with mufflers is the MPG increase and CFM. I know that airflow increases power AND fuel efficiency, so that's my biggest concern. I suppose noise is a factor, but my analysis of the selection begins with MPG increase and airflow.
It looks like those high performance ones like the Hushpower Pro would be best for me, then, right?

Alright, I don't want you to get your hopes up like I did, performance from the increase in flow you will see a slight increase. Don't expect much of an MPG gain, I've seen barely any since I put mine on in November. And if you're looking for more performance, than yes Hushpower would be the right choice for you. They're really good systems.
