long time ford man, have had many from stangs, f100's,broncos,rangers, explorers and super duties. my son's and i new project is a 94 f150 4x4.

our latest project is a 94 f150 4x4. the truck has dual tanks and each tank seems to be pushing fuel into the other tank that isn't being used. is there a diverter valve in this system or is the problem in each of the in tank fuel pump assemblies? the repair manual i have is vague about this problem. looking for some help or good advise if anyone has had this issue with their truck. thanks for any help.

that's pretty common, I'm pretty sure you have to pull the tank and replace the bad pump... Not 100% though

seems like you might be right, i cant find any valve external of the tanks anywhere. just hoping to talk with someone that fixed the same issue . thanks

Hey bud. Welcome to the forum. I had an 84' f350 with 2 tanks. I had pumps in both. Witch were both bad and had to b replaced

10 years older but that's what it was. Anyways. Haynes manuals r pretty thorough. Maybe u can pick one up at the local auto parts store. Good luck. And again. Welcome to the forum
