My original search found me a 2010 screw with 20k on it, with the 5.8. Haven't been to the town that has it yet but it looks very nice on the pictures. We drove the 5.0 and it was very nice. Didn't drive the 3.5 eco. I would consider it but just didn't think for the same truck I want to spend the extra money, but I am not opposed to it. We did get a chance to see a screw with a 6.5 bed today in another town and was able to compare them side by side and that extra foot would be nice, but trying to decide if it is worth it for the handful of times a year I will need it. Our main reason for wanting the truck is for having more room for camping. Outside of camping season, the 5.5 bed should be more than adequate for normal travel. It appears that all of the 5.0 I have looked at come with the 3.55 axle, and 90% of them are the locking option. Not sure what that does, but I assume that is probably a good thing to have. We really liked the Blue Jeans Metallic color. So, the research continues as to which one will be the best for us. So, would it be safe bet though, that if I were to go used, to look for a 2011 or newer to get the 5.0 vs the 5.4 because it is a newer engine or is that not really a concern? Thanks
the 5.0 defiantly.. The 5.4s after 04 are.. Problematic
