I know I'm new to the forum. And I'm not here to start anything. I just think if we are going to pass off information to people who truly need it, it should be accurate. If this number is accurate, I would hold it high and proud and show the dyno slip
We're not saying you don't. But Joe has no reason to lie and he knows how to get the most power out of everything. This isn't an ordinary tune as far as I know because Joe has hookups at Ford. Besides the Mustang GT uses the same exact engine except a different intake manifold I believe, and it starts at 420HP, it's just the tuning that makes it different, not to mention you can tune it on top of that. 460 isn't impossible and I don't think you know fully of the capabilities of the 5.0 yet. Ford came out with a power monster with it. You won't be disappointed.

This is the dyno I'll b on. Trust me my ford brother. This motor is corked up like crazy. Ford sends em out like that to compete in the whole mpg world ya know. I wish u lived closer so I could take u for a ride and show u. Heck my first tune on the 500 have 120. With nothing else but a tune. My buddy has a brand new 13 GT. Totally stock. Goes to the track and puts his computer on it and it runs 10.90's all night. Your new ride has a lot of power in it. And there is not many people running them. Just the mustangs. The same things can b done to the truck. Boss kit to come. And I sure would like to put a hellion kit on my truck too lol. But I think I'll keep it at around 500 crank hp so I can keep it sound fer as long as I can

Just curious why did you give up your 6.0? I've always liked them and Idk how you could go from a diesel to a gas haha

I gave up the 6.0 because I was about to turn 200k miles and needed injectors. Plus I needed a bigger cab due to my third child being due in June. In regards to the previous post about the mustang being the same except tuning.... Not the case. They have different cams different tuning different intake, different oil cooler lower compression and no piston cooling nozzels. Far from the same.

I did list the different tune and intake...I'm aware there are differences. My point is that it's still the same block, pistons, and same number of valves. Yes it has more performance internals than the one in the 5.0 F-150. But what matters is the tune. I've seen people with the Mustang GT that do nothing but a tune and hit over 500HP, a gain of over 80HP. SVT knows what they're doing, that's easy to see on vehicles like the Raptor, or the SVT Cobra, or Cobra Jet for that matter. They probably have a really great tune for the 5.0 in the truck and I don't doubt Joe got the numbers he posted up.

Easier to do with high compression. I'm not buying it. Not even remotely. If the numbers are what he says, show the dyno sheet. There is no one out there that dynos their vehicle and doesn't save the print out. The craziest tuners out there have not achieved the claimed numbers. I'm not doubting anyone's ability to make a car go fast. But let's not be blinded here. Do some solid research and you'll see this number is way off.

Well it sure sounds like you're doubting Joe. I didn't believe him on his numbers on his GT500 until he shut me up with actual dyno results. I'm sure when Joe gets some free time from his 7-12's he'll post up proof of his truck's power. And no one is being led blindly here, Joe's saved my ass a bunch of times with questions I've had and how to get more power. He doesn't go around bs-ing people or telling them lies about power, he's not like the Bowtie boys or mopar fan boys that would do that. He wouldn't say something about power unless he could back up what he says with actual results. He'll post the proof, just wait.

Yes. I am doubting those numbers. The gt500 I don't doubt at all. But the truck, yes. I didn't say he doesn't know what he's talking about. I said the numbers make no sense. And you simply cannot compare the mustang to the f150. Not a close call. I'm not saying you are being led blindly. I'm saying you are just believing and not doing your own research to back up what you are fighting about. I'm not on here to bs. Not at all. As a matter of fact, I probably have a lot to offer to the forum so I'm not here to step on toes. Proof is just that... Proof. Show the dyno.
