Yeah, I put the side stripes on and two weeks later I stopped by the dealership and noticed the '15's have the same sort of angled stripes on them.
Oh well

I thought about plastidipping them but I did my limited rims once and didn't really like how they turned out. Ended up being a huge pain in the arse getting it all off. Mind you, I did leave the rims on the truck when I did it. May be easier to take them off for paint.

I think I'll look at interior ambience lighting next in this one.

idk about them in the trucks beacause they don't come in them but my mom's explorer has them it's cool you can change the colors and the brightness of the leds

Yeah, my wife's car has it. Pretty cool.
I'm going to use el string wire to do my cup holder and foot wells. I just tested it on a car battery and the color is almost a perfect match to the OEM lighting. I won't have color changing options, but I'm ok with that.

yeah I know that but for the explorers and so on it comes on the sport and Limiteds if you get it as an add on you or your dealer have to put it in but in the explorer it's all ready to go when you turn the lights on

Yeah, you can get it as an accessory, but it's awful pricey for a few lights, and you don't get the cup holder ring I don't think.
This should work for about 35 bucks.
