    rearview mirror adhesive issues

My rearview mirror mount won't stay adhered to the windshield for reasons I'm unsure of. I am wondering if there is an adhesive that works good?

3M double sided industrial tape. Make sure you clean off all the previous adhesive from the window and the mirror first.

Also, I think at most auto parts stores they have a glue kit especially for rear view mirrors.

Well I've tried the glue kit and for whatever reason it hasn't been working even though the windows been cleaned properly. So I think I'll try that 3m tape you're talking about and thank you

I have used the kits and had good success with them. Did you hold pressure against it for couple minutes? This helps the bond to adhere good to the cleaned surface( with alcohol swipe)

I believe 3M actually makes a rearview mirror adhesive, it should be available at any local auto parts store.
