    Hey guys I got a 02 fx4 I wanna slap a super charger on it I've saved 3000 so far an I've looked at kits but does anyone have any tips r any easy ways to do it any issues I may run into

    You should look into sts.com. It is turbos not supercharges but that's the way I would go. Never personally delt with them but I've always wanted to.

    Would it not be easier with the supercharger since the lightning supercharger is built on the same engine

    The cool thing about the sts kit is its remote mounted. If you can buy the kit for your truck you can do it in your driveway in just a few hours from what I've seen. Bolt on 100 hp and better fuel economy if you can resist the urge to play! Lol

    Turbo would net more RWHP but S/C sounds cooler and gives you more low-end grunt (what you want in a truck).

    The Eaton M112 will bolt onto a 5.4L no problem if you get the lightning intake mani. A LOT of OEM SVT parts can be bought for cheap on Lightning Rodder (forum). I see people do OEM S/C setups for under $1500. dont forget the fuel pump, fuel lines, oil lines, aftercooler, etc.
