    hood latch

    I have a '96 F150, 192k; you can tell by the pic it ain't no pretty truck, but it keeps running.

    Current issue: I can't open the hood. It feels like the cable has become disconnected from the handle. Please note that I have very little mechanical ability, or money. Any suggestions on how to open the hood? And how to fit the hood release?

    wow, that's a tough one. I'd call a local shop and ask for advice, generally they will give advice on that kind of thing.
