Wow loving my new 5.0 I have. 7k on it and getting 12.9-13-2 avg all the time really glad I stayed with ford my buddy bought the new dodge and he is not liking the mpg..

Hmmmm I would think you should get better than that with the 5.0.....but glad you're happy with it!

you should be getting 15-16 in town avg. I got the 5.0 the worst i ever got was 14mpg and thats cuz i was in a traffic jam cuz of an accident. lots of slow stop and go for an hour. normal town driving conditions i get 15-16. and 21-22 on the hwy

livewire custum tune
I hav a 2000 4x4 v10 6.8l and i recently bought a livewire programmer and i was wondering if anybody had a custum tune especally for mpg? I hav a preprogram tune but i heard u can probably get 10% mor out of a custum tune. I heard that i might b abl to get someone to send me the download for a custum tune i wud realy appreciate it thnx yawl!
