My 1999 f150 steering wheel gets stif & hard to turn left only sometimes tho, when it gets hard to turn I have to use two hands to turn then it's fine for a little bit & does it again. What could this be?? Steering pump? Or steering box.

My steering box went in my 03. It had the same symptoms. It was 100$ from ford. Took about 30 minutes.
