Thread: Hard thud

So when I come to a complete stop. I hear this thud. Almost feels like the drive shaft has slack in it. But it has no slack. Ever. Any of u guys with the newest gen truck ever have this? I took it to ford and of course they said they couldn't duplicate the noise. So I grabbed the Svs manager and took em fer a ride. They took it in the back and have me the "we put some special grease in it That should do the trick". I was like. R u serious? I said. I'll b back. And no. Not like Arnold. lol. But if anybody has had this drivetrain thud at a complete stop. Leme know what the result was please. Thanks y'all

Joe this is a known Ford issue with the new trucks. There is a transmission programming out for it that should fix the problem. Looks like its time for you to go to a different dealership.

Thanks. I had this issue in January Mentioned that and they said that the greasing issue was to solve it. I figured as much. Thank fer the tip cuz

I had it fixed. It was in the program. They put it on the computer and it hasn't done it since. But thanks homes
