93 f150 5.0 over heated and now wont start.

My 93 overheated an blew apart the side of my brand new rad, so I let it cool off for a couple hours and then drove it back to my house and half way it just shut off and hadn't started since. I checked the oil and there's no water, fuses all look fine.

why did you decide to drive it with no coolant rather than have it towed?

Nope not seized the motor turns over but sounds like it isn't trying to start, but I had a buddy check spark an he claims it's getting spark and I did have fuel at my rail.

    ----------

I drove it home cause I was in the woods, I wanted to get out of the woods first. Which as soon as I got out the woods and touched pavement it shut off there and hasn't started since.
