Gonna buy soon...any suggestions on what to pay for 2012 XLT CLUB CAB ECOBOOST.

Yea, it's time to trade my sweetheart in. Actually I'll probably just give her to my grandson...but I digress. Sorry. We all go thru a painfull time trying to shop for a vehicle and this dealer is making claims I know he will not honor when I go in ($24k ). Maybe some of you can tell me what you paid.

I paid just under $34 for a crew cab 4x4 XLT 5.0 with the chrome package ,18" wheels, sync, carpet floor mats, and limited slip axle. Just wish I would have got the backup camera for hooking up trailers and leather for cleanup reasons.

The EcoBoost is a major player in the truck market. They account for over 60% of F-150 sales and 35-40% of all major manufacturer pickup sales this year. You won't have much wiggle room- they are hard to keep on the lot around here. Just shop around and don't be afraid to walk away- that's how I got my truck. We left them an offer, they said no, so we went home. They left us a message on our answering machine telling us to come back. So we turn around and go and pick her up.

I payed just shy of 32 for my XLT EB crew w/ chrome pkg 3.55 sync, but my credit wasn't great so they probably would of gone lower if I hadn't been a dummy 10 years ago

That's been my motivation ever since I got my CC a few years ago. I only bought emergency items (gas, oil, brake pads) and paid it off quickly. I just turned 21 and I have a >715 credit score. I want to walk in there, point at the truck I want and say: "GIMME!" lol

Should work out well. My ol ladies score is in that range and the first thing they did was go to invoice as a starting point then did a lil better than that cause I've been such a loyal customer.

Yup. I'm hoping the dealership closest to me sees their logo on my 1998 and gives me a better deal considering, but I'm not holding my breath. If I have to drive 500 miles to Miami to save a couple grand, its worth it.

You may just get a quote from a couple nearby dealers and pit them against each other. Most of them have the "we can beat that" attitude which can play big into your favor.
