Thread: Mileage?????/

So I bought my fiddy on the tenth of January, it's an '04 SuperCab, 6.5' bed, 4X4, 5.4L V8, Auto. I'm getting right at 13 mpg out of her, I wasn't able to figure out what I was getting right away because of some flooding that we had so I had to drive through a lot of deep water real slow as well as haul a dumptrailer of sandbags. I've gotten 13 mpg + or - for about 3 or 4 or so tanks now. It has 118,8xx on it. Is this around what you guys are getting out of your 04s? My Dad's 08 gets 15 mpg when I drive it (his is identical), so that's why I'm curious I know that rear ends may be different. I'm thinking a full tune up would be a good idea, plugs, wires, maybe pcv, as well as probably tranny flush, differential oil changed, coolant, ect. Anything else you guys would think of? I'm also thinking to put some Banks mods on eventually, so anyone having mileage help with some of those? I'm thinking Ram air intake, Monster Exhaust and a single exhuast pipe, maybe a programmer as well lol
