Hello. I'm new here and wondering others opinions on the 2012 F 150 ? 90% sure I'm ordering from factory this week. Ian looking for solid factual discussion about advantages of this truck over other models. I'm looking at crew cab XLT with all packages... Chrome, convenience, tow, plus. W/ Eco boost. Your thoughts?

I like the ecoboost so far. This is my first Ford truck and I am generally impressed with the handling and amount of space inside the cab.

sounds good, but I think I still like 5.0 better. i just wouldnt want to be stuck with messed up turbos after warranty is messed up and the miles rack up on them

That's not all true my friend. The Ecoboosts come with a limited lifetime powertrain warranty. Meaning anything goes wrong with the engine or Tranny and its covered. Coverage will be voided if you modify the truck. So as longas the powertrain stays stock it'll be covered.

Dealer called today, got a production date of March 16. Delivery 1-2 weeks after that. Going to be 6 weeks on the dot on that schedule.
