I think you mean 7700. It's a heavy duty F150 or light duty F250. It has 7 lug nuts and beefed up suspension. Bigger brakes I think too. And a 4r100 transmission. And bigger rearend then a normal F150. But the motor is the same I'm pretty sure. They aren't common to find. And are usually beat to s*** beacsuse they are normally work trucks. Welcome to the Fourm btw.

Yeah dang talk to text got me ment 7700. I have been having trouble finding parts like brakes and suspension. Of course part stores don't list the 7700 as an option.

It's actually in great condition. I am in need of brakes all around and front shocks. Everytime I talk to auto parts store they have no idea what I'm talking about when I say 7700 series. I talked to a dealer and they said that I could get the same Parts if I just said it was a lightning but I don't want to buy those parts and have them be wrong and go through all the hassle of returning parts and still not having the right fit

    ----------

I have actually won a $50 bet because someone did not believe I had a F-150 2002 that was 7 lug

    ----------

Also want to know if this truck is known for any issues that occur throughout the whole entire line

the only problem is if the spark plugs aren't torqued down to 28-32 pound feet they run the risk of shooting out of the head. And the trucks aren't too commonly known. That's probably why. You can get factory parts from tasca parts.com they are cheaper then if you would get them at the dealer. And they are the real deal part. But for employee pricing. In all honesty. I've probably spent damn near $2,000 on that sight. I've never had one issue with anything. I think these are the right parts. It doesn't say it's for the 7700 but it does say HD. And the rotors are for 14mm studs. I'm sure others can say if I am right or not.

I heard about the 5.4 l doing that. The first thing I did when I got the truck was tighten down the sparks. The HD must stand for Harleysville davidson.

true! I forgot about that.. Here's part numbers ( or so the website says ) this is the website that doesn't give discounts.. Maybe you can write them down and look them up on tasca parts..

Sorry if I'm not helping much..
