That's what I'm gettin when it's time. I pulled the trigger a few months ago in tires and wheels. But my buddy loved em so much he bought em right there

I still say to this day. The best versatile tire for a truck is a toyo. At2 or mt. Stay away from them nittos. Unless your putting them on all those hot rods u got. Then I recomend the nitto 555r's. Best longevity and traction. Mickeys R the best. But you'll get only a few passes out of em. But save your money if your gettin nitto tires for your truck. There on the downward spiral. But good luck and show it off when there on
Thanks for that. I think this will help me out in figuring out what tires.

Any time. They call me JoJo the tire man lol. Best bang for your truck is a 6 ply at2. Now. A 10 ply. Or load range E tire is probably the best. Makes it curb proof. Any kind of obstacle proof lol. However 10ply tires R heavier and will bring them Mpgs down. So I recommend a 6 ply tire. Fantastic traction. And some reassurance underneath of u knowing you have a tuff tire Also. It's a great street tire. Very quiet. But great in every terrain. Next tire of recommendation would b good year dura track. Also a wonderful tire. And I've seen the milage to prove it Just don't waste ur money on nittos. They look cool. But don't last. And also are more prone to wear uneven.

Listen yall. I'm the king of traction. If anybody ever has a tire question. I'll do my very best to answer

Joe , sounds like you posses a good amount of tire knowledge ! I have those crappy stock pirellis on my 2011 screw with 20" stock wheels. Couldn't afford to replace em , and as of now I have em 3 1/2 yrs and 26 k miles on em. They're wearing great, no cracks , cupping, or uneven wear. They ride nice on the highway and hug the dry country road twisties of upstate ny and even the southern state parkway off ramps, lol ! That being said they're bad on wet surfaces and absolutely horrible in snow. I put cooper discoverer at3's on the old ladies ch**y ta**e a year ago and they are wearing great and are fantastic in snow. Was wondering if you have an opinion of these and the Firestone destination AT's as I'm considering both for my next set on my 2011,.... MYbe Kelly safaris or any other somewhat aggressive looking tire that's good in the snow and and dirt type roads I encounter while hunting 3 weeks out of the year , but that won't kill gas milege. Guess I'm looking for a best of both worlds , with most of that time being spent in the concrete world, but with as much an aggressive look I can get without killing mileage , well,.......if it exists ,....lol! I'd say I'm 80% road , 20% off road.

Oops , just realized this post is about the bull bar. Didn't mean to hijack it with a tire question . So to the OP I say go with the mix.

Ok never mind I see it's kinda covering both lol !

Pauly. I'll b honest with u. If u factor price, durability , longevity and weight. That cooper is a great tire. But you want aggressive and quiet. And tuff right? Goodyear dura track

Fantastic bang for your buck. Best part? Quiet. I recommend a 6ply tire. 10 ply is too heavy. And if u don't tow or go nuts. I would get the 6ply. Better milage.

Thanks Joe , I've considered those as well. I don't tow my quad anymore I put it in the bed. But I might tow a friends trailer and the two quads occasionally. I'm guessing here but I think total is less than 5k lbs. so when you say don't tow I assume you mean heavier weight than a mere 4 to 5 k?

I might use my 5x7 for my quad and other stuff occasionally also.

Goodyear makes great tires. They've definitely stepped up their game lately
