    Consumer Report slams Edmunds

    Great article backing Ford: http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/n...-150/index.htm

    Consumer Reports calls the sledgehammer show a "stunt" and totally backs Ford. They think the repair costs and insurance will be unchanged.

    Thanks Rhino. Of all the people opining, Consumer Reports has as much credibility as any. So many are knocking #1--not consumer reports on this. It makes you wonder why Edmunds would take it to someone who didn't know what they were doing and then can't figure out why it costs so much. That's how I read it anyhow.

    Awesome find Rex! Makes me wonder if Edmunds didn't select the shop they did on purpose knowing that higher repair numbers would cause a firestorm of interest/comments based on their article.

    Probably did, just like GM Trend, I mean Motor Trend, they have a noticeable bias.

    Motor Trend has been a joke since it first started. I wouldn't be able to wrap my head around how the Colorado won truck of the year when the 2015 F-150 is all new with a new material for the body. And the Superduty being able to tow up to almost 32K, but the Colorado which is nothing special, just a revived model won because all the editors and such might as well work for GM.

    The Colorado is junk. Sorry if there are women on here, but that does not look like a mans truck...I think whoever pays the most money will get "motor Trend Truck of the year". Even all the Chevy guys I work with don't even like the Colorado.
