[QUOTE="RexReid;80795"]Can you imagine being Ford and having all the demand and no supply? It is going to be a while before those prices come down. ---------- Probably...it could be tricky and there will likely be problems. With that said, the move seems smart and Ford deserves credit for going big.[/
I don't think it's ever gonna come down. Land of the free........ Home of the expensive lol

Oh deff. They went huge. But. That's my opinion. I'm anxious to see how it does. When I drove them in the summer. They were a lot of fun.

Joe might as well be a Ford test driver lol. When you buy as many vehicles from them as he has, especially ones like his Cobra and the Shelby, you get invited to special events. He's kinda like a movie critic seeing movies before they come out, he's gives feedback.

I read the article again.....Ford prepared a statement for him. I've bought a few new vehicles, and never once did I have a statement prepared for me.

As for the '15s....we'll see. An aluminum body could certainly be a FANTASTIC idea, but I want to see what kinds of problems will result, because some are certainly bound to. I want to see what a few Minnesota Winters followed by our Summers do. With a temp difference of ~140 degrees (I've personally seen -40F and +100F here), it will be interesting to see if the aluminum panels get loose due to the expansion and contraction of our extreme weather. I also want to see what happens when we get a good hail storm, and if paintless dent removal is still an option. Either way, shaving ~700libs. off of the truck will make it handle better, and allow it to tow more.

x2. It is interesting to me as gas prices have gone up, so has the weight and they are just now reducing it. Yet hauling and towing numbers have always been the first priority. Reducing vehicle weight to easily raise towing and hauling seems like a "no-brainer". I wonder how Ford thought of it first? LOL

I think ryno hit it on the head. I've done enough R and d on my end with my mustangs and any pro shop lol. At least that what it feels like sometimes. I brought a few svt brass to there limits on a few test drives lol. The ones where they road in my cars. It's a real thrill. When u can break bread with the people that make Ford move forward. There have been a few things we have bounced back and forth through the years. I've drivin everything that ford has put out that u want to drive. And a few that I'm legally not permitted to tell u about. Those. Mmm Mmm Mmm. Make u just proud to b a ford guy. All I can say is voodoo. Anyways. Back to your question. Ford enjoys my input. I'll beat the snot out of it. And drive it like a mumum. And I'll give my opinion. No. I don't Work for ford. They can't pay me enough lol. But I will gladly help them in anyway possible Plus being a shareholder for years doesn't hurt lol. Am I special? No. Just a blue collar guy that knows how to wheel. Lol

    Lol,

I know you don't know me, so let me explain:

    1. I don't tip 15% unless the service is really bad, then I do. I appreciate service and what Ford is doing. I am really looking forward to seeing the new trucks.

I wish you could divulge if Ford is smart enough to put a diesel in the F-150 before every other brand does lol. And when the legitimate Shelby will return.

Ram already has the eco diesel. Supposedly the ecoboost is fords solution, NOT a small diesel option.
I wanna hear more about voodoo tho haha .... If they put that in the f150 I'm definitely trading in my 3.5 haha I've never given a f&#$ about mpgs
