Oil changed now running rough

I went and had the trucks oil changed and after running now the truck has this violent shake and sounds as if something is loose. The service shop put in 5w20 Castrol.

bad gas? Or it might need new coils and plugs how long ago was the fuel filter changed??

Okay, so you or someone else took out the oil drain plug. Then the oil filter removed and replaced and then new oil. Nothing about that will make an engine run rough. However, in another thread, you said the engine was running like a diesel. I suggested you check the timing and recommended that the vehicle not be driven that way. I'm sorry, but this seems somewhat ridiculous. I don't know your experience with mechanics. It sounds like you need someone knowledgable in this area. Repairs on the internet can work, but first the person who needs help has to have enough experience to explain the problem.

Did you check the oil level? If that is good, which should have already been checked, then move on to diagnose the real problem.

the mechanic mentioned Cam Phasers. All this happened immediately after the oil change.

I heard that, but unless your mechanic sabotaged your truck, changing the oil can not cause any problems.
