How bad are the 5.4s

Thinking 09-13, Supercrew, not sure how much better the mpg are with Ecoboost, but either had to be better than the 13 I'm getting now.

eco if you drive it right will get high teens low 20s...its pretty much dead even with the 5.0

i stepped up from an 07 5.4 to a 14 5.0...WHAT A DIFFERENCE

yea you had a 2V 5.4...IMO a lot better engine than the 5.4 3V

U guys r killing me I have a few months to wait but soon to let the 4.6 go and get a 14 5.0

i agree no problems besides spark plus blowing out and has some good low end torque

Actually. Yes. The first engine was the 2v. And I agree. Great motor. Lightning too. But the 4 v motor was it's replacement. I m just real big fan of the 5.0.

ah i didnt realize you put a 4V in it...and i concur the 5.0 is unreal
