I started hearing a clunk in the front end last week, didn't matter if it was in 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, so I took it in on Friday and the dealership said the steering rack needed to be replaced. So I left it with them and picked it up yesterday afternoon, all done and covered under my extended warranty (62000km on truck now). Drove home, truck drove like brand new (never really noticed anything wrong before though until I heard the noise). This morning I turned out of my yard onto the county road and I got a bunch of messages in the productivity screen - SERVICE ADVANCETRAC, SERVICE ABS, SERVICE HILL DESCENT CONTROL. I called the service dept and they said its probably the steering angle sensor module, apparently they go about the same time as the steering rack for some reason. So back to the service dept she goes tomorrow morning, only I'm working so the Mrs. is gonna take it in for me AND let me take her Expedition to work - God I hope I don't screw something up on it!!!!
