    Should I blackout my taillights on my 2004 black f150 fx4?

    Maybe. I don't understand why some people put black paint on the most safety-crucial part of a vehicle.

    as long as you have bright enough lights, it shouldnt matter

    They meet the minimum requirements for lumious output at around 250lm. Plus thats only half the problem- reflectors are very crucial too. I have 2,000lm on the back of my truck.

    I would buy smoked tailights. Dont get one of those kits because they always comeout too dark
