Oh how cute. You know, Ad hominem (name calling, for you) is the last form of defense to an argument. Its quite childish and I'm sad to see someone with a Ford resorting to manners of a five year old.
Back to the subject at hand: There is a point to which one can modify their car, and when it gets dangerous, that's enough. Blacking out taillights is as dangerous as no taillights at all. You can have fun with your tinted head and taillights or your hyper-blue Nokia bulbs and I don't care how loud your exhaust is or how tall your tires are, but when you get selfish and immature enough to not care about fellow drivers safety, then thats another concern. And seeing people with these $35 chinese eBay kits is like staring into a 747 on final at JAX. HIDs were NOT meant to go into halogen reflectors. Defend all you want, but I can prove you wrong. You are blinding me and everyone else on the road. I should NOT have to hold my hand up in front of my eyes to prevent from being blinded, and thats coming from a 21 year old with perfect vision. Imagine what you are doing to the old ladys that have glasses on!
Now I know how you feel. I was 16 once too and defended my PnP HIDs like you are now with your bleeped-out words that are supposed to make me feel bad, but I learned better. I had some rice-TASTIC 6000Ks in my halogen reflectors. And you're damned right I thought they looked cool. But I couldn't see anything and I got flashed all the time (which, by the way, is not a measure of if your lights are too bright- I drove for two hours with my retrofits on high beam by mistake and only got flashed once). So I did the mature thing and put my halogens back in. Yeah, they didn't look as cool, but I had high beams again and a proper reflective pattern of light. When I saved up the money, I got some real HIDs in real projectors.
tl;dr- Enjoy your mods, boys. Florida isnt the only one on my side. Fix-it tickets are coming to a city near you!
