Thread: 2006 4.6L vs 4.2L fan shroud

Hello fellow f-150ers, I had a 2002 Ford f-150 4.6L regular cab, long bed, 2wd, white, w/ 112,000 miles on it. I made an even trade for a 2006 f-150 4.6L regular cab, short bed, 4x4, w/ 72,000 miles on it. The reason we did an even trade is that the 2006 was in a front end collision. I was able to drive the truck home, so it runs good. The truck did not have a fan shroud, and the only ones I can find online are for a 4.2L. Do any of you know if the fan shroud is the same for the 4.6L as the 4.2L? Or are they different size/type? I already have many of the parts and I have a body shop mechanic working on the frame a bit (uni-body needs straightening). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
