    Nope. I've never been told that, but my truck is newer. Your bushing is probably 10 years old and rusty. Are the sides of your tires wearing more?

    Had a 2 1/2 on my 06 for six years with no issues, just took it off and replaced my shocks, sway bar, springs and struts.
